New England has marched on, past the Jags, past the Chargers, and possibly past the 1972 Miami Dolphins into NFL History. All it takes is one more win.
If the Pats pull off what was considered impossible -- 19-0 -- the 1972 Dolphins have promised to walk out onto the field at the end of the game and shoot the referees. Randy Moss had a classic "Moss" response: "Small price." Coach Belichick is already thinking aobut next year's Super Bowl and trying to pull off a string of three to five undefeated years in the NFL. His latest press release is telling. Reprinted here in its entirety, it reads: Screw you all.
So now, it comes to the Giants, the team that gave the Pats one of the greatest fights of the year. Here's looking forward to an excellent Super Bowl! Be sure to check out the Super Fantasy Fan section now! |

The New York Football Giants broke the hearts of teh die-hard fans of Green Bay in the NFC Championship game. After a thrilling four quarters, the Championship game went to overtime thanks to 2 missed field goals by Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes. Tynes more than made up for the misses. A Brett Favre interception in the first drive of OT set the Giants up on Green Bay's side of the field, but the G-Men could get no closer than a 47-yard attempt for Tynes. As his 2 missed kicks were shorter, it looked as though the Pack may have gotten the stop they needed, but Tynes came through in the clutch. For Giants news, click here. |
